EVENT CLUB continues to grow and now has a team of 10 people from Panama and Panama Oeste, many of whom are Walton Scholarship alumni. Celebrating three years of operation in Panama, the company currently maintains an inventory valued at approximately $15,000 in high-quality chairs, tables, and pop-up tents.

Thanks to MBC’s support, the business remains profitable, achieving an average profit margin of 30%. Beyond financial performance, Event Club has provided its team members with valuable tools to generate independent income, gain practical experience in entrepreneurship, strengthen professional networks, and tackle unemployment. Furthermore, Event Club actively supports community initiatives through financial contributions and equipment rentals, as demonstrated in the recent Futuro Panamá summer camp.

KEY MILESTONES INCLUDE:

E-Commerce Integration: Launched full e-commerce capabilities on their website.

Inventory Upgrade: Replaced and upgraded existing inventory with higher-quality equipment.

Organizational Structure: Added new administrative roles to support operational scale.

Major Account Success: Served as the primary equipment supplier for Moon Fest in Panamá Viejo—their largest client project to date.

FUTURO PANAMA—also led by Walton scholars—expanded its reach this year with more than 26 volunteers serving over 115 students across three schools in Panama. For the fourth consecutive year, the team hosted its 3-day camp in El Valle de Antón, focusing on personal finance, entrepreneurship, and scholarship opportunities.

KEY MILESTONES INCLUDE:

Academic & Scholarship Success: Last year, nearly 15 program participants secured scholarships to study in Honduras through a partner organization. Additionally, one of our students was awarded the Walton Scholarship and will begin his freshman year at Harding University this August.

Alumni Engagement: The initiative has built a sustainable mentor pipeline, with former student participants returning to serve as active volunteers.

Strategic Partnerships: Established key collaborations with Global Shapers Panama City, the Mayor’s Office of Arraiján, United World Colleges, and Copa Airlines. Next month, Copa Airlines will host nearly 75 students for a tour of their hangar facilities, helping reinforce practical exposure and career mentorship

Sustainability & Independence: Manna Business Collective served as the founding seed driver for this project in 2023. Today, Futuro Panamá operates on a diversified funding model backed by local individuals and businesses, allowing the initiative to become increasingly independent and self-sustaining.
